Because
we are located on the side of a mountain, the Bella Vista is a great
place to do nothing but relax. We have a wonderful spa on the back deck. The hot bubbling water and
the beautiful view of the mountains make it ideal for total relaxation. If you choose
to take it one step further, Michael is a Certified Massage Therapist. A
one-hour massage ...... it just doesn't get any better.

For those who would like a little more exercise, we have some wonderful hiking trails within minutes from our house. The Backbone Trail has many switch-backs making it fairly easy. The views get better and better as you make your assent. The Malibu Creek State Park (5 minute drive) has many trails to choose from. This was the filming location for the TV hit series "Mash". Within a 30-60 minute drive we have the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, the Getty Museums, Universal Studio Tours, Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm.
Malibu Beach is 10 minutes away. A walk on the beach after dinner at any one of the many fine restaurants is a great way to end the day. Speaking of restaurants, at the bottom of our driveway is the Saddle Peak Lodge. This is a five star restaurant. Great ambiance combined with excellent cuisine. Reservations are a must and should be made 1-3 weeks in advance. Their phone number: (818) 222-3888. The
Champagne Suite is very comfortable. It has a large wood burning fireplace
directly opposite the king-size bed. As part of the suite, there is a
private bath with tub / shower and double vanities. The Burgundy Room, not shown
here, is a comfortable room and is adjacent to the Champagne Suite. This
is convenient when there is a second couple or children in your party.
This
is our Fall color in the upper vineyard. We have approximately 300 vines
that wrap around 3 sides of our property. We are now make
our own wine and will be even more excited when we are able to keep the deer?
Forget the deer. Keep the raccoons away from the grapes.
